NAT National Aptitude Test

NAT stands for National Aptitude Test. NAT is a basically a test held by NTS (National Testing Service) for the students who want to get their bachelors/ masters degree from university.
 

About

NTS is a Pakistani organization that administers academic tests for students who want to continue their studies further. NTS takes two types of tests- GAT (graduate assessment test) and NAT (national aptitude test).

What is NAT National Aptitude Test

NAT is an entrance test for students applying for universities. By giving the NAT test, the students will be able to apply to any university that is affiliated with NTS through NAT. NAT is a secure, objective and a more valid way of testing system in Pakistan.

After NTS NAT success, many universities and organizations have now made NAT testing service compulsory for the students who want to enroll in the programs.

Categories of NAT:

There are some more categories made by NTS for their entry test programs. For each subject, NAT has organized some categories so that the student can take that form and give in the entry test for the subject.

  1. Students who are going to opt for medical go with NAT- IM. NAT-IM is for pre- medical students.
  2. For engineering students, NTS has a category of NAT- IE.
  3. NAT- IA is for the students of arts and humanities.
  4. NAT- ICS is for the students of computer sciences
  5. For the students of commerce, NAT- ICOM is the NTS group.
  6. NAT- IGS is for students of general science.

NAT Test Instructions:

There are some rules and regulations that every student has to follow strictly for their NTS NAT entry test. NTS has these very hard and fast rules for their students. Students who will not follow these rules may have their entry test cancelled.

  1. Each and every student must reach the center on time. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the given time.
  2. All the students have to show their NTS roll no slips to the staff present. Students not having their NTS roll no slips will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
  3. The question papers will be given to the students before the test starts. No student is allowed to open up the sealed question papers a minute before time.
  4. No student will get permission to leave the examination hall after the test starts. Excluding some major reasons.
  5. All papers will be collected by the present staff. No students are allowed to leave their classes before.
  6. Students are not allowed to bring calculators, mobile phones or wrist watches with them at the center.
  7. Selection of two answers in any question will result in zero marks.
  8. Answers which are not readable or are over written will result in zero marks.
  9. Students are allowed to use only black or blue colored ball points.
  10. Extra papers for rough work will be given to the students. No student is allowed to bring extra papers or stationery.
  11. Use of any other item that is not given by NTS staff will lead to disqualification.
  12. Student must fill his/ her name; roll no on the front page of the question booklet before solving the paper.
  13. No student is allowed to keep the booklet for themselves. NTS testing staff will take back your booklets after the test is over.
  14. Students are not allowed to ask help from the NTS invigilators.
  15. Each student must sign the attendance sheet that will be given by the NTS invigilator/ staff.
  16. Any student creating disturbance in the entry test will lead to disqualification.


NTS National Testing Services

NTS Test Result:

After NTS test, the students can check NTS website for their results. NTS will display the list of selected candidates as well as rejected candidates too. Students who will be selected by NTS will be called in after for interview.

NAT Registration Process

Students who are willing to register themselves through NTS NAT entry test, here is how you can enroll in NTS.

  1. Follow NTS website.
  2. Download the NTS form and fill it carefully
  3. Submit the form and NTS fee at the bank
  4. Attach your photos and other documents asked.
  5. Download your roll no slip from NTS website.
